Whitnie Leigh Meller, FNP

Whitnie Meller is a family practice–trained nurse practitioner with Prisma Health ENT. Originally from Toledo, Ohio, she earned her nursing degree and later completed her nurse practitioner training at the University of Cincinnati.

Whitnie evaluates and treats a wide range of ear, nose, and throat conditions, including hearing loss, tinnitus, sinus and allergy concerns, chronic ear and throat infections, and thyroid disorders. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as an intraoperative nurse, where her time in the operating room sparked her interest in ENT and inspired her advanced practice career.

She is committed to helping patients understand their health by explaining conditions and treatment options in clear, accessible language. Whitnie encourages questions, promotes shared decision making, and ensures patients feel like active participants in their care.

Outside of practice, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, especially outdoors—hiking, relaxing on the lake, and enjoying the sunshine whenever possible.
