Dr. Wes Abadie is an otolaryngologist–head and neck surgeon at Prisma Health, specializing in the full spectrum of ear, nose, throat, head, and neck disorders in both adults and children. Commonly known as an ENT specialist, he provides expert care for conditions ranging from ear issues and nasal congestion to tonsil disease, neck tumors and head and neck cancers.
Dr. Abadie joins Prisma Health as a recently retired military physician following more than 20 years of service in the United States Air Force. Although his career allowed him to live across the country, he proudly considers Virginia his home.
As a specialist, Dr. Abadie values the complexity of ENT care and the opportunity it gives him to support not only patients but also the providers who entrust him with their referrals. He is committed to being an integral member of a comprehensive healthcare team, helping patients restore and maintain their quality of life.
He believes in building lifelong relationships with patients and their families caring for adults, their children, and watching those children grow into healthy adults who later return with families of their own. This continuity is among the most rewarding aspects of his work.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Abadie enjoys spending time outdoors. You’ll often find him fishing, hiking and exploring the natural beauty of South Carolina.

This was a very good visit with an attentive, skilled physician. He was not rushed, he listened and he addressed my issues and opened discussion on my options....and he had great tools and devices. He didn't hurt me. First impression is very good. Would be hard to improve....he was great.....staff was great....room and environment was great. I would give it a Big 10 for excellent.

Yeah, I didn't know what a nebulizer was and I know they expected to have one in the office. They didn't. So I had to try to find one and a couple of places said I would need a prescription just to get the nebulizer. So I ended up having to go to a third place and they knew what it was and explained it to me. So I wish I had kind of known what it was and somehow I guess the prescription should have been written away that they could have given me a nebulizer without me having to go to three places. Hope that makes sense.
