Suzanne M Hardeman, PMHNP

Suzanne M. Hardeman, NP, joined USC Psychiatry in 2008, having previously served in positions across mental health nursing, emergency nursing, education and counseling. She currently serves as the director of biological research at the University of South Carolina Department of Psychiatry.

Hardeman is a psychiatric nurse practitioner with clinical interests in grief and bereavement. Her research interests include treatment adherence, comorbid depression and medical illness, cognitive dysfunction in schizophrenia and psychiatric rehabilitation. She has served as co-investigator and principal investigator on a number of mental health-related grants.
