Sangita Dash, MD, is an infectious disease specialist at Prisma Health in Columbia. She received her medical degree from the Shri B.M. Patil Medical College in Bijapur, Karnataka, India, and completed her residency training at New York Methodist Hospital in New York City. She then continued her education at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, completing a fellowship in infectious diseases.
Dr. Dash also currently serves as an assistant professor of clinical internal medicine with the Division of Infectious Disease at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, where she participates in teaching rounds with residents and medical students.
