Sally Chen, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Prisma Health. Ms. Chen received her bachelor's degree with a major in psychology from Saint Louis University, and her physician assistant degree also from Saint Louis University. She takes special interest in hand and upper extremity surgery.
Ms. Chen believes that her role as a physician assistant is to provide compassionate, dedicated care to patients while striving for excellence in health care. She emphasizes the importance of treating the patient as a whole person, understanding that many psychosocial factors may impact a person's current situation.
She thoroughly enjoys collaborating with the rest of the orthopedic surgery team, and she welcomes the moments of joy found in her interactions with those in the clinic. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and baking, as well as spending time with her fiancé and two Great Danes.
