The care I received was excellent!

I felt misunderstood. I shared that my intense pain came upon while resting and sleeping. Why take x-rays while I am standing up? How can what I am experiencing while sleeping be x-rayed while in a standing position? I was sent home with a list of exercises. I was also asked if I wanted physical therapy, to which I replied "YES" The doctor's order was sent out as occupational therapy to the facility where I am due to start physical therapy. I worked with enough medical patients to know there is a difference between occupational and physical therapy. The pain is still very intense while resting. What is the next step? Since the x-rays did not show any chipped or fractured bones, something is still terribly wrong. I am requesting that an MRI be ordered that will show more than inflammation.

I had an appointment with Dr Z for 2-year checkup on right knee replacement. All was well and I don't need to see him again unless I have a problem, which I don't anticipate. Dr Z is professional and kind.

My appointment time was 1030. I signed in at 15. I wasn't seen until well after 11 AM. No one had come back to let me know of any kind of delays until I stepped out into the hallway. I know that they were probably short-staffed, but it would have been nice to know something waiting 35 minutes past the appointment time. Thank you.

Nothing . Well taken care of.. i was told earlier in the day from faster er i had a broken foot. Once Dr. Z looked at it and said you do not have a broken foot ,but picked right up on the xray that at one time early in my life i had broken my foot. He was very informative and took the time to show me everything on the ex ray.

The doctor could have taken a few minutes more to talk with me. He seemed to be in a big hurry to see me and get on to the next patient. He was in such a hurry that I forgot to ask him about my heel. My right heel feels like I have a spur in it. It hurts when I put pressure on it.

At checkout, one patient was checking out, the other rep was talking on tge phone and didn't acknowledge my standing there or sitting down. After five minutes, I walked out to the front desk where I first checked-in, and was checked out.

Can't think of anything. It was a very good experience . Everyone were very nice and seemed to know what they were suppose to do . I am happy that they are in Sumter to help us.
