I still believe patients should have representation with corporate decision makers about what should happen if we continue to be threatened by our current administration (medical and coverage standpoint). Will we still be treated if Medicare/Medicaid go away and supplemental coverage cost skyrockets.

The decision to stop the zometa infusion without being warned caught me by surprise (even though I was aware that it can cause problems if used too long). When things are going well with cancer treatment, change can produce anxiety. However, the people here have been amazing and I am so grateful to still be alive, largely because of them. I love them all. I also still believe that patients should be represented in corporate discussions dealing with the possible political decisions that might affect our Medicare (or Medicaid) coverage.

No improvements necessary. Every person at this facility is wonderful. They are the kindest, most patient focused, and knowledgeable team a patient could ask for.

Dr Michel's found I had fluid in my lung cavity & called my heart surgeon . I feel this is going above & beyond to keep patient healthy Situation of fluid was drained . Thank you Dr Michels !

I realize that my appointment was made quickly and perhaps the doctor had little time to review my history prior to meeting me but I was alarmed with him seemingly having limited background knowledge . This was quickly resolved during his questions , explanations and feedback however and I was very pleased with the consultation .

Dr. Michels & all of his staff were & always are very kind & supportive through this time in our lives. We appreciate their kindness.

There is no way that it could have ever been any better. Dr. Michels and his staff at the Cancer Institute are the best. I've been going to Cancer Institutes for years, all over the world, and they are the best.
