As a pediatric heart specialist, I work with patients and their families to diagnose and manage birth heart defects, acquired heart conditions, sports medicine concerns, chest pain, fainting and heart palpitations. I encourage patient and family education, mentoring and coaching them to the best heart-healthy lifestyle possible. I routinely coordinate care with partners here, as well as other specialists within Prisma Health, and across South Carolina and beyond. I love the outdoors, art, photography, adventures with family, and teaching colleagues around the world. It has been my continued privilege to serve families here in the Upstate since 1994. I look forward to serving your family as needed.

I can not think of any thing to improve. The staff was very considerate of my child's needs.

Nothing. Very good and timely visit. Everyone was very polite and had minimal wait. Best doctor I have ever experienced. Doctor was polite and very personable putting my daughter at ease. Very satisfied.

For me, everything is great. I've been taking my daughter there since she was born, 10 years to be exact, and the best thing is Dr. Robert Raunikar and the nurses. They are the only ones who deserve this. Thank you for all the care. There is no racism here, nothing like that. All I can say is thank you.

We were treated with respect. I couldn't ask for better. We have total trust in Dr Raunikar. He's taken care of my child since 2014.

It was a great experience

Support was provided. Everyone was kind and courteous. My only issue is that an automatic BP cuff was used despite the fact that it was not working very well and my request that a manual BP be done instead. The readings were used to assess my child's condition and direct recommendations. I am an RN and I highly suggest that the nurses be open to doing manual BP reading as they are more accurate.

There is never a time when I haven't been disappointed in the care that my daughter receives at this healthcare facility with the doctor to the nurses to the child life specialist. They are all amazing. They all seem to truly care about my daughter and her well-being and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a child Cardiologist

Dr Raunikar is always respectful, detailed, caring and knowledgable about my son's specific situation. I could not ask for a better local partner for his care coordinated with the surgical team and drs at MUSC in Charleston.

This office was amazing. The nurses and Dr Raunikar were patient and kind. They took time to explain things well and respected her. The Echo tech kept her modestly covered while performing the exam.
