Reid W. Tribble, MD, graduated from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, and earned his doctor of medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He then completed a residency in general surgery at North Carolina Baptist Hospital/Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He completed his thoracic and cardiovascular surgery residency at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center in Charlottesville, and joined Carolina Cardiac Surgery Associates in 1995. Dr. Tribble has a special interest in aortic surgery, mitral valve repair and coronary revascularization.
