Although I have lived in various states throughout the country, I am proud to call South Carolina my home. My family and I enjoy just about everything about it--from the beaches to the mountains--and I feel like the warmth of its people and their charitable nature toward others goes along with our own family values.
My wife and I enjoy traveling, quite often to see our children who are now grown and scattered throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic. I also enjoy playing golf and soccer, which is something that I did not think I’d be able to do for as long as I have, but I have been blessed with some sturdy joints and a fun group of peers. Of course, I am the first to admit that my mind thinks that I am 30 but my body tells it otherwise! Now and then I run, cycle, or swim, usually with my wife keeping pace with me and inspiring me to keep going.
The service aspects of medicine were what first attracted me to Women’s Health and are what still give me great satisfaction. Few people outside of our field can boast that they helped couples achieve their lifelong goals like starting families and becoming parents after years of struggling. I fully appreciate the trust and responsibility that this entails, and always strive to ensure that my patients are graciously treated with respect and empathy because of this. Most days I feel like I am one of the luckiest guys on Earth.

Dr Miller is way too important and his precious time with his patients is so very important and invaluable. He shouldn't have to spend so much of his time going over medication lists and medical history and typing in notes from our visit (after I'd already updated them in My Chart prior to our visit). He deserves a dedicated known-to-his-patients specialist to collect and verify all of the data from numerous databases and do 1st level inquiries to make the time you have with him personally more fruitful and advantageous for the patient - and put less burden on such a valued and revered - and coveted - doctor to have time to consult with. I truly hope you recognize and appreciate the incredibly rare and talented "dedicated to women's overall health" genius you have working for you! I truly believe he's saved my life multiple times - not only by HRT - but by truly listening to me and providing researched alternatives and solutions for those of us whose health and quality-of-life decline took unexpected sharp left turns and other doctors gave up on the complicated puzzles that was/is "me". But, Dr Miller took my case and devoted his own time and energy to helping me crack the code to my menopause misery and walked me thru every stage of a long dark scary ugly battle my body waged against me and my mere existence. It didn't happen fast. It wasn't the same treatment that had worked on others. But, he kept perfecting the ingredients to my essential metabolic requirements until we came up with exactly what I needed to come out the other side as a woman that I knew - recognized immediately- as a less deficient- more vital and pain-free version of myself that I was before my first meeting with Dr Miller. I can't sing his praises enough! I've consulted with and worked with many doctors prior to Dr Miller. More times than not, I was told that most of my symptoms were figments of imagination or all my mind. But I will never forget my first consult with Dr Miller - the time he took - the questions he asked - the notes he made - the wheels in his mind I could see spinning.. I left there feeling "heard" and valued as a woman going through awful conditions. He restored my hope in doctors - ones who take their specialty seriously. My health (granted, the journey took time) improved year by year - and continues to do so.. Largely, in part, to this incredible doctor, our "hormone guru", that you have the great fortune of being able to tap into his empathy and intellect at will. Please know what an amazing gift and asset he is to our community of hormonally challenged and eternally grateful patients...

The front desk staff, particularly the woman at the very front desk, were cold, did not smile, did not greet me warmly. I felt as though I had done something wrong just by coming into the office. I felt as though I was in the way just by standing across the desk. I left discouraged, unsure what I had done to be treated so coldly.

Dr. Paul Miller could have asked me if I had any questions, comments or concerns due to this being my first pregnancy and of my condition. Instead he practically hurried us out of the room.

My appointment was telehealth and unfortunately I was unable to connect with the doctor. I waited for 45 minutes then called the facility. By the time I was able to connect with someone I felt like no one believed me because there computer said I didn't connect via the portal until 3:51pm. Which was incorrect because I'd been on the portal and waiting since 3:00 pm. Fortunately, I was able to get my appointment rescheduled but not soon enough.
