Nina S. Vincoff, MD, is the Executive Medical Director of the Radiology Care Division at Prisma Health, leading more than 100 radiologists who provide imaging care for patients across South Carolina and East Tennessee. She is also a Clinical Associate Professor of Radiology at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville. She specializes in breast imaging.
Dr. Vincoff earned her medical degree at University of Pennsylvania and then completed her residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of California San Francisco, where she was chief resident. Residency was followed by a diagnostic ultrasound fellowship at UCSF.
Before assuming her position at Prisma Health, Dr. Vincoff served as Division Chief of Breast Imaging and Radiology Vice Chair for Patient Experience at Northwell Health, as well as Medical Director and Vice President for Clinical Initiatives and Patient Experience at Northwell’s Katz Institute for Women’s Health.
Dr. Vincoff serves as Editor-in-Chief of the academic journal Applied Radiology and previously served on the editorial board of the journal Clinical Imaging. She is a nationally recognized leader and advocates for the importance of patient- and family-centered care within the specialty of radiology. She has been a member of the American College of Radiology Commission on Patient- and Family-Centered Care since 2017, currently serving as Vice Chair of the commission. She is also Co-Chair of the RadiologyInfo.org ACR-RSNA Public Information Website Committee. Dr. Vincoff’s previous national leadership roles include Vice Chair of the ACR PFCC Outreach Committee, Co-Chair of the ACR PFCC Patient Engagement Committee and Chair of the ACR Appropriateness Committee Patient Engagement Subcommittee.
