Nancy Wendy Hendrix, MD

Dr. Nancy Hendrix is a maternal-fetal medicine physician at Prisma Health with a strong foundation in obstetrics and gynecology. She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, where she also completed her OB/GYN residency. After several years in general obstetrics and gynecology practice in Spartanburg, she pursued advanced fellowship training in maternal-fetal medicine at Thomas Jefferson University, further specializing in the management of high-risk pregnancies.

Her clinical expertise focuses on caring for women with complex pregnancies, including those affected by chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes, as well as pregnancies complicated by fetal anomalies or genetic conditions. Dr. Hendrix is experienced in developing comprehensive care plans that address both maternal and fetal health, emphasizing collaborative decision-making and clear, patient-centered education tailored to each individual’s background and needs.

Outside of work, she enjoys baking and has developed a particular interest in cake decorating.
