Miesty Woodburn, MD

Nursing staff is usually nice and seem to care. This time I felt rushed and like boxes were just being checked off when questions were asked. Improve nursing staff. I have no recommendations except to keep Dr. Woodburn. I learned this visit that she will no longer be with PRISMA and I am very unhappy. She is the FIRST Neurologist that was able to stabilize my MS & Migraines. She listens and genuinely cares. I had 2 Neurologists before her that couldn't. She's a Gem, 1 of a kind!

I'd say not ending my favorite doctors contract. That's absolutely horrid to think about having to see a new provider after developing such a good relationship with Dr Woodburn. This will definitely be Prima's loss, as she is an EXCELLENT provider.

That the physician understood my needs, she said numerology stop treatment for MS after 65, she does not meet my needs and marks it up to different problems, I've seen her 4 times in 2 years and she has never ordered any MRI's and only looks at my past tests from years ago, she only treats patients that there are the age 25-65, look it up, waste of my time and hers and she calls herself a neurologist that is all I get out of her, will be looking for a another dr!

When I became emotional during the appointment; the doctor stopped asking questions and attended to what was making her upset. She took her time during the appointment to truly hear my concerns. I felt heard.

Nothing. Miesty was great. She always listens and genuinely cares about me as her patient. She answers all my outrageous questions without judgement.

This dr was an amazing person. I felt I could truly trust her as soon as she walked in. She gave me alot of information that noone else had. Thank God for a wonderful dr.

Everyone was very polite and respectful to me and my wife. My doctors told me everything was OK. Thank you. ?

None. Dr. Woodburn is the best neurologist i have ever had. I wish she could be my doctor for everything! Even though I've only seen her 2 or 3 times over the past year, she is familiar with not only my neurological issues, but with me as a person. Through her kind, super-smart, and friendly demeanor she works together with me to make sure that I receive the best care possible. She is also a fabulous collaborator with my other healthcare professionals. She supported my getting physical therapy, made the referral, and gave me very positive feedback regarding my progress. She asked me to tell my PT that she was very impressed with my progress, which made my pt feel good about her work. Dr. Woodburn makes my feel like I am being taken care of by a collaborative team, and I feel well cared for. She is simply the best!

Doctor Woodburn could have listened more empathetically without rolling her eyes (which she did multiple times). She appeared very rushed and even sighed during the visit which came across super uncaring. I recognize I have a type A personality and can speak fast but I was trying to provide as much information to her as efficiently as possible given the allotted appointment time. At one point she came across condescending by telling me to calm down. I was not yelling, or cursing...I was just stating my viewpoint on meds I would use and not use and why. I admit I talk fast but that is part of my personality and how I've always been. Overall, I truly felt judged and as though I was an imposition. That said, I would probably never come back to this doctor again, however, she did come across knowledgeable and capable of providing quality care so I will stick with her; I just feel she could work on her bedside manner and be more cognizant of her non-verbal communication.
