LuAnn Harris, ACNP

LuAnn is an Advanced Practice Nurse who has been with the Prisma Health Cancer Institute since 1987. LuAnn worked in both the inpatient and outpatient settings as an oncology nurse prior to becoming an Oncology Nurse Practitioner. LuAnn received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina in 1987 , her Masters of Science in Nursing from Clemson University in 1995, and her Nurse Practitioner Certificate from the University of South Carolina in 1997. She is certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center(ANCC)and certified as an Oncology Nurse by the Oncology Nursing Society .

LuAnn works primarily in the outpatient setting seeing medical oncology and hematology patients . Her primary interests are patient education, treatment toxicity management , and quality of life improvement
