Laura Throckmorton, MD, is an Ohio native who has been with Prisma Health since 2021. She completed medical school at the University of Cincinnati and residency at Case Western University Hospitals. She additionally completed an Advanced Clinical Ultrasound Fellowship here at Prisma Health in the Upstate.
Dr. Throckmorton enjoys the variety of the Emergency Department and the opportunity to care for patients at their time of greatest need. She believes in frank discussions to best allow patients to be involved in shared decision making in the Emergency Department.
