Laken Mae Koontz, DO

Laken Koontz, DO, is a primary care provider with Prisma Health Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville, TN. She enjoys all aspects of family medicine, and has special clinical interests in preventive care, women’s health and contraception, and caring for military personnel and veterans. Dr. Koontz earned her medical degree from Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her family medicine residency at LewisGale Hospital Montgomery in Blacksburg, Virginia. She is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
