Kelly Mills, PA-C, joined Prisma Health Riverside Family Medicine–Maxwell Pointe in August 2025. She was born and raised in northeast Georgia and attended the University of Georgia, where she obtained her undergraduate degree in nutrition science. She later earned her Master of Medical Science in physician assistant studies at North Greenville University.
Kelly was drawn to family medicine by the opportunity to cultivate relationships with patients and help them achieve their health goals. She is particularly passionate about preventive care and lifestyle interventions such as exercise and nutrition as a vital part of overall health. In her free time, she enjoys walks with her husband, Peloton cycling and exploring nature.

The appointment went well and I was happy with the care I got, especially from the PA. The only problem was the timing. My appt was for 3:30 - They did not take me back to the exam room until after 4pm. Then I had to wait 30 more minutes after the nurse left me waiting on the the PA. I did not leave the office until 5:10 or so. This is not acceptable. The scheduling needs to be improved so people do not take nearly 2 hours for a fairly simple examination.

This was the first time I had seen Kelly, but I was extremely impressed. She was very thorough, very personable, very conscientious. I felt totally at ease with my care and appreciate both her expertise and the nurse, I don't remember her name, who attended her during the process and did some of the, helped me with some of the tests. I will be glad to get more feedback if you need it, but I was extremely impressed.

The staff needed to know that I was a NEW patient.....my Dr. did, but no one else did. I couldn't find my way to the lab or back to the front. They apologized, and said they didn't know I was a new patient. The care was great. My wait time to be seen was over 30 minutes. That is too long. My Chart scheduled a 40 minute visit. I was there for over 2 hrs. But I am still very impressed with my PA.
