I didn't like that they had to use a translator when my husband could have translated everything perfectly well because he speaks the languages fluently, and I need that reassurance and confidence. The gynecologist was excellent; she gave me complete confidence and was very caring in her attention to my health, and I don't think a translator was necessary.

I have always had a good experience, however at this appointment i expressed how frustrated i was with the wait. I arrived on time fore my 8:30 appointment I even did the early check in. I sat in the empty waiting room a little over 10 minutes and wasn't bothered by this till a lady came in and checked in and got called back when I had already been sitting there a little over 10 minutes. When we got to the room every thing was good and the nurse put on the video and let me know the doctor would be in in just a few minutes. At around 9:20 I asked the nurse when the doctor would be in because my appointment was at 8:30 and I did have work to get to ( I work in Anderson and had to be there at 10) I do want to note I did not schedule any of my appointments past my 28 week appointment. The nurse informed me there was trouble with a computer and that's the reason she was behind and she would be in in just a minute. Another 10 minutes went by and I was now very annoyed especially because I had to say something and no one bothered to inform me that the doctor was running late. When she finally came in I expressed I was frustrated and felt like the whole situation was inconsiderate and she brushed it off and said that she was trying to give all her patients equal amount of attention. Due to my frustration with no communication and now being late for work my actual time with the doctor was rushed. I was disappointed with how this appointment went and how my concerns were handled.

They need two ways to the building. It's a little confusing.

I went seeking help and understanding about the changes I've noticed in my body, and to discuss why my body is hanging onto my weight. I gain a better understanding of my hormones being all over the place, not resting well, having night sweats, and getting hot flashes out of nowhere. I have reached a point in my life where it is discouraging and frustrating due to the nutritional and physical lifestyle changes I've made to improve my health. For the first time, I felt unheard and stereotyped based on the concerns I had. For example, I requested additional blood work. I was stereotyped by being compared to other women who listen to social media. My request was not coming from media channels, but rather from speaking with other professionals, women bodybuilders, and a couple of other women who have walked in my shoes. I appreciate her professionalism during the exam. I want to suggest that the office provide wipes to clean up after the examination and not place the instrument in the sink, allowing for proper handwashing for the patient. I come prepared with my own wipes, but I know other women would appreciate having some. I had to Use a tissue to open the door and seek a restroom to wash my hands. I don't think this was intentional; I feel this is her style of caring for her patients. I know that in the future, I will wait until my doctor is available rather than taking the next available appointment.

I should have been informed of delay instead of sitting in room for an hour wondering what was happening. I had just decided to get dressed and leave when Dr. Edwards came in. She and nurse apologized.

I am a professional retired RN , and I can in no way improve on the way that I have been treated. Dr. Edwards, and her staff do a wonderful job, and r very professional, skilled, and caring. I am so glad I have had the opportunity to go to their office.
