Katherine Riley Rookstool, PA

Katie Rookstool joined the Regional Urology family in 2015. She was born and raised in Damascus, Maryland and moved down south initially for Clemson University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences. She fell in love with South Carolina and stayed for her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at MUSC in Charleston, SC. Fresh out of the gate, Katie decided to begin her career with a postgraduate fellowship to specialize in urology, which she completed with Regional Urology sponsored through Furman University in 2016. She loved working with her Greenville patients and her Prisma Health family, and joined the practice full time as a urology PA and director of the APP fellowship program for future fellows following in her footsteps. Katie lives in Piedmont with her husband Sam and two big dogs, Jax and Rigsby. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, exercise, shotgun sports, off-roading and traveling around the world.
