Katherine Armstrong Sorrel, PA

Katherine A Sorrel, also known as Katie, is an Advanced Heart Failure Physician Assistant at Carolina Cardiology. She earned her undergraduate degree at Clemson University, majoring in Health Science with an emphasis in Cardiovascular Imaging and Leadership. While at Clemson, she completed clinical rotations at Prisma Health as a cardiovascular sonographer. Katie completed her Master of Physician Assistant program at Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia. She was born and raised in the Greenville/Spartanburg area and after earning her Masters degree moved back to the Upstate with her husband. Together, they adopted their dog, Theodore, and enjoy spending time with friends and family and cheering on the Clemson Tigers. She aspires to continue expanding her foundation of knowledge in order to provide the most comprehensive care for each and every patient.
