Everyone did a great job.

Hope the provider check the patient first before ordering non-related tests.

EKG machine was not working properly. Maybe have more than one for each office?

Provider did not deliver a clear plan of action. The provider, student, and nurse did not appear organized. The room for the Pap exam was not cleaned before I was taken there. There were brown spots on the floor, a patient's sweater left on a chair, and the exam table paper had not been changed. The environment did not feel sanitary or prepared. My urine bottle and Pap sample were not labeled. I had to ask the nurse to label them before I left. She said she would, but they were still unlabeled when I checked, and each sample was left in a different room by the sink without my name on it. My blood pressure was low, and it was not retaken or addressed. Maintenance health and epilepsy were listed in the visit summary as topics that were "addressed," but they were not discussed during the appointment. The provider was very friendly and easygoing, which I appreciated. However, the overall experience did not feel professional. This visit also made it clear to me the difference in clinical expertise and thoroughness that I have experienced with an MD compared to an NP. I am thankful she saw me and checked the placement of my IUD, as I preferred a woman for that. However, I will be returning to my original MD for future care.

Listened to me, the patient, about my progressive symptoms systemic decline since August that are red-flags; and help me create a game plan on how to tackle getting care or what testing I should be pursuing. I was looked at based on my chart rather than the current symptoms at hand. The provider completely ignored my current symptomology due to my previous "extensive testing", that was mostly through 2023 and 2024, way prior to when my symptoms all started in 2025. The provider said she had to check something and would be right back and left the room, then I was completely disregarded and abandoned when the nurse came back to take me for the few blood tests the provider ordered. She didn't tell me what she was ordering or even had the courtesy to explain anything to me. I am thoroughly traumatized by my whole experience of throughout the Prisma system, and am genuinely scared to go back, but unfortunately I have to see a doctor unfortunately, but most likely won't be sticking with this one

I wish she had been a little more communicative with assessment and next step. Thought she was coming back in after xray.

Look up from the computer and actually talk to the patient, especially when it's a new patient trying to establish care.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 11/2/2025
Nothing I would change. Everyone I interacted with was was friendly and courteous.

So when I came in, it was to get a blood draw and when I had the blood drawn it was to send certain information about the blood draw that isn't normally taken but it was to get testosterone replacement therapy which the labs are sent to another clinic and then they administer my testosterone. So I came in to get the blood draw to get the specific panels and Dr. Burton was seemed a little flustered at why she was being asked to take those blood, you know, why she was ordering the labs rather than the clinic themselves ordering the labs. So she seemed confused about the protocol, but she wasn't particularly communicative or like directly helpful. She seemed more, she seemed to be more inconvenienced and kind of put off by what was going on rather than being informative.

I can think of nothing else the staff could have done. I was seen quickly, and the officer staff, nurse and doctor I saw were all compassionate and professional.

I think everything was good I did not see my normal provider. The provider and staff were very nice and engaged appropriately. My only statement would be "Prisma Providers need to be allowed (sick patient appts) that are not utilized for regular appts but for people who call in and are Ill
- 2 out of 5 starsReviewed on 10/23/2025
More compassion

I personally thinks it's unfair to expect a doctor to glance over your medical charts and really get a feel of their new patients history and that annoying tapping away on computer screen makes me feel left out during the visit .... Even though I do understand the need of documentation : (
- 2 out of 5 starsReviewed on 10/22/2025
As a new patient I would have felt more comfortable if the provider made eye contact when talking to me. I had questions and stated concerns that seemed to fall on deaf ears until I raised them again. I did not feel confidence from the provider in her responses.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 10/12/2025
Unfortunately, each time I have seen my provider, there has been a different assistant. I know how difficult finding aMedical Assistant is, but it is kind of unsettling as a patient.
- 2 out of 5 starsReviewed on 9/14/2025
Not ask me to make the decisions.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 9/11/2025

I can't think of anything. It was a very good thorough visit.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 7/28/2025
One receptionist was on phone with patient. The other was chatting with someone like another employee and after a few minutes I had to ask if she could check me in. More attentive reception area would be helpful.
- 3 out of 5 starsReviewed on 7/26/2025
The reception ladies are very helpful and kind the staff who took me inside both T's were good but somehow I didn't get the confidence that the nurses understood my health issue and my suffering. She was in a rush I suppose might be that I was under extreme pain and bad health but did not feel I got the right care and empathetic treatment. I like people in Prisma but I would expect more care to patient health. My problem was not solved. I had to call the dermatologist and book my own appointment. My referral was not sent which I was told was done few weeks back and even yesterday.

Everything was fine; and I received my prescriptions from the pharmacy shortly after my visit.

- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 7/18/2025

Karla, her nurse and entire staff were wonderful!!!

Clearer instructions about going to lab work immediately following the appointment. I waited about an hour in an extremely cold waiting room to be called back for labs. I was not told, and there were no instruction entering the lab waiting room, that I was to turn my lab sheet in to someone in the back. There's no reception area and my instructions were to go through the sliding doors and have a seat. Dr. Burton's nurse happened to come in the lab area and was shocked I was still sitting there. She intervened and had me called back in less than 5 minutes. A reception area in the lab waiting area or signage as you enter is absolutely needed.

the staff at the front desk are amazing, the professional way they treat the patients. They try to help to solve a problem with a patient on the phone or in person promptly, and with a smile on their faces. The front-line defense of this facility is terrific.

I think trust care and respect are all there already. The place is very clean and neat. The people are kind and helpful and Karla Burton is excellent in how she treats and works with me. Thank you so much for all that you all do.

I had accidentally took a wrong turn (1st time going to the building). I was about to call the office to let them know that my map took me the opposite way. Please text the phone number with your phone number and a question as to find out if we are lost.

It would have been very helpful to have had my labs drawn at the time of my appointment. I now have to go to an outpatient facility to have this done.
