Juan Corral, MD, earned his medical degree from Universidad Francisco Marroquin in Guatemala City, Guatemala, and then completed his residency in internal medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami in Florida, followed by fellowships in gastroenterology and advanced endoscopy at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville. He then served as a gastroenterologist for four years at Presbyterian Healthcare in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
As a gastroenterologist, Dr. Corral treats diverse digestive conditions such as pancreas and biliary disorders. He subspecializes in therapeutic endoscopy, performing procedures such as ERCP and EUS. He is passionate about improving digestive health, preventing gastrointestinal cancer, and offering an early diagnosis and treatment to his patients. His goal is to guide their medical care with respect, professionalism and empathy.
When not at work, Dr. Corral enjoys running, soccer, water sports, traveling and time with family.

Be knowledgeable about a person's pass History, back for years and years. Listen more, without passing, or assuming what's going on, but be sure of what your diagnosis is. Thank you.

The front desk check in person didn't even look at me until I went to sit down. She actually ignored me for what seemed like forever. If you're busy, take a second and acknowledge the person standing there. There was no window closed sign. This is the second Prisma office I've come across rude receptionists. I don't like the trend.

A two hour wait to see the doctor was much too long. The doctor was wonderful, though.

Everything was perfect. Couldn't ask for better care & understanding!
