Jessica Leigh Nix Coplin, DO

Jessica Nix, DO, is a family medicine physician with Prisma Health. She believes in building meaningful, long-term relationships with her patients and providing comprehensive, patient-centered care across all stages of life. She earned her medical degree from Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at Prisma Health Family Medicine–Greer. She is board certified in family medicine and has special interests in preventive medicine, osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT), chronic disease management and sports medicine.

Drawn to medicine by a passion for both science and service, Dr. Nix believes health care works best as a partnership. She seeks to ensure every patient feels heard, respected and empowered in their health decisions. Her approach emphasizes prevention, education and individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals and lifestyle. She enjoys managing both acute concerns and complex chronic conditions, helping patients navigate their health with clarity and confidence. Whether guiding patients through preventive screenings, managing long-term illnesses or addressing new symptoms, she focuses on evidence-based care delivered with compassion.

Dr. Nix values practicing at Prisma Health because of its commitment to community-focused care and collaborative medicine. She appreciates working alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving the health of the region.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Nix enjoys spending time with her family and outdoor activities, which help her maintain balance and bring renewed energy to her practice.
