When you make an appointment, you make it abundantly clear that you must be there ON TIME...yet YOU are never on time... why's that???

None needed. Dr. Hopkins is great, and so is everyone in the office.

Only problem we had was a long wait time. They were really busy at the time we were there. Always treated with respect and courtesy.

Keep doing what you are doing. Treating people with respect and making them feel like they are important.

Reduce the wait time!!! My appointment was for 10:50 and I was there at 10:50 and the doctor arrived for my visit at 12:30... at least he is worth the wait?.

My appointment was for 11:30AM & I waited until almost 1PM.

Less time waiting to be seen by the doctors.

My appointment was for 11:10 a.m. It was close to 12:30 by the time I got in to see the doctor. This is pretty typical of this practice and it's unacceptable.

Okay. One time when I was in the Lexington Medical Center, they had one of the caregivers or orderlies acted disrespectful toward me, wouldn't have put my food within reach, must have been in a bad mood, but took it out on me. And that's one thing y'all need to look out for. People that have an attitude, if you're going to hire those kind of people, the patients are not going to be happy. I sure wasn't. I had to call someone, call the cafeteria and find out what was going on with this person. I don't know if she still works or not, but there you go.

An employee working near the reception area answered a patient phone call on speaker phone. The caller was attempting to provide her insurance information. The employee seemed impatient and quite rude with what sounded like an older lady. The call should not have been taken on speaker phone and I wish the employee had been kinder.

Am ok with my provider

Dr. Hopkins is the best and I recommend him to anybody that needs to have hips replaced. He's the best.

Care was appropriate

Dr Hopkins and his staff are very professional and caring on my each visit. I can't find anything to be improved.

We waited for an hour and 15 minutes past the appointment time before we saw the Dr.

My disappointment was at the check in desk. I drove almost 2 hours to my appointment. I arrived at approximately 12:30 pm for a 1:00 pm appointment. Apparently it was lunch time because there wasn't anyone at the desk. I waited a few minutes. I decided to have a seat. When the desk clerk came in she had a fast food bag and drink with her. She addressed me with "What time is your appointment, or are you waiting for someone? Not the greeting that I expected. Should I choose to come back to this office (I'm still debating) I won't come around lunch time.

This has been my 3 visit to this office between October of last year until now. You wait in the waiting room for almost 30 minutes, and then someone takes you back to the examination room and you wait in there for almost an hour. I prefer just sitting in the waiting area instead of looking at four walls. Why is the wait so long and the visit is between 2-5 minutes? My God, we have a life too!

Besides the wait (due to amount of patients), everything went well. Excellent service without any hitches.

Everything was okay and I'm not really complaining. It did happen to be that a couple of the people had a cold or something, but they did have on mask and everything. And it was a very crowded waiting room, but they did get through us quite expeditiously. And the practice is very good and everything, but and maybe had we didn't give them more information when we went in that we'd get out quickly. And I know sometimes that they get overbooked or whatever, but if we could just be more cautious of that, that would be fine. Thank you.

I had concerns about my thigh and leg and while Dr. Hopkins listened to me, he did not examine me at all. Xrays and MRI studies were ordered but I feel he should have examined my leg and checked ROM and watched me walk.

I had to wait for over an hour when I was brought into the room and waited for the physician himself. Maybe an hour and a quarter, I'm not sure, but it was over an hour. It would have been nice if someone had popped in to say, he's been delayed, he's on his way. Thank you.

The provider and staff were truly professional and i would highly recommend them to anyone who orthopedics care.

The only problem I had was the wait time. I didn't see the Dr. until 2 hours after my scheduled appointment. I overheard them say the system was slow that day. I was apologized to for the wait time and wasn't upset about it but am not used to such a long wait time.

The person providing me with forms after I saw the physician was not very nice. And was only a little helpful in answering questions. She didn't provide info without me having to ask.

I had a 3.20 p.m. appointment and arrived at 3, and I did not leave until after 6 p.m., so a long time was in the waiting area where I do have pain and discomfort. And once I was back, the staff was friendly and accommodating, but it was a very long wait for someone waiting on a hip replacement and in discomfort and pain. Thank you.

Less wait time I waited 2 hours to see the doctor.

I was called back to the exam room. I told the nurse why I was there, she asked me questions and we talked. She left the room at 3:08. At 4:10, I went into the hall to ask if they knew how much longer it would be and where the restroom was. It would have been appreciated if someone had come back into the room during this 62 minute wait and tell me that the wait was going to be awhile. You can't help but wonder if somehow, they have forgotten about you or the doctor doesn't know you're in there. I understand they were busy and there were a lot of patients to be seen. A staff person should have come in at some point during that wait, that ended up being about 1 hr. and 20 minutes.

Dr Hopkins and his support staff were very caring and professional. I completely trust them with my care and have done great with my total hip replacement. Should I experience any difficulty with the other hip, I would certainly return to Dr Hopkins for my care.

Take in consideration the health the person is in. There are lots of handicap parking but to a person with bad hips and knees that is extremely painful to walk that far.

My appointment was at 1:50 pm, and I was not seen until 3:50 pm. Most of that wait time was spent in the exam room waiting for the physician. While I am sensitive to the fact that sometimes a provider needs to spend extra time with difficult cases (as I would expect the same if I had pressing issues), I feel that the support staff could have come and checked on me in that two hour period - to make sure I knew where a restroom was if I needed it, or to offer a bottle of water, or to acknowledge my wait and let me know that the MD has been held up but he will be with me as soon as possible. Simple courtesy and customer service. The physician did not even acknowledge my wait or apologize for it when he finally arrived for my visit.

My appointment was running a little behind, but so was I so it all worked out.

The dr and everyone was nice polite and friendly.

The providers don't have enough time to spend with individual patients. Prisma treats me like a McDonald's. I get to spend if I am lucky 20 minutes before the provider moves on. Prisma needs to understand that this is health and not a cattle farm.

Billing! I have cigna insurance and community care through the VA. I asked if there was a copay and I received was no. Later, I recieved a bill from Prisma Health. My injury is service connected so VA cover 100%.

It seems the wait times for everyone was very long. I showed up 15 minutes early and still waited over an hour before I was called back. Maybe spacing more realistically may increase the visit ratings

I don't know if still under staff from covid, I understand sometimes it's double, booked there's a glitch, what I've read in the computer system, accidentally overbooked. I know we're human. But everything contradicts itself. And all I know when I go in there they're really hustling. It's hard on them, and having to wait an hour or two, not good. And even if the information they put in there about the glench, if that's true maybe somewhat.

It took too long to get appointment which was semi emergency. He was on vacation and should have back up provider.

The doctor was very impressive and I appreciate his help and hope that we can find out what's going on with me being in so much pain for so long. But I do appreciate him being concerned the way I feel he was concerned about my situation and that he would help me in one way or another. to get me out of pain. I've been in pain for about five years, suffering with my knees. And every time I went to my knee doctor, after he did surgery, he kept telling me it was either my back or my arthritis or something else. I've had a good experience. Everybody was nice to me. The doctor was real nice to me. I understood everything. I wouldn't want a better doctor to wait on me. And I will always go back to him as long as I need to. Thank you.

Have the provider listen to you and understand what you're going through not telling you what they want you to do but what you need and what you telling them what you need them to do

I would love to get back and see Dr. Hopkins. I think he's an excellent doctor. That's why I have picked him to hear so many good things about him for my knee surgery. Prisma and Columbia is entirely different than Prisma and Sumter. Difference is day and night. I wanted nothing to do with Prisma and Sumter and that seemed to offend him. But I would love to get back in if possible, please. Thank you.
