It seemed like an overly serious atmosphere. Lightening up the conversation would help.

To clarify the person who checked me in was courteous but when I arrived at the clinic. The person who faces the door would not look up even though they heard the automatic doors open and knew someone was there. She proceeded to answer a phone call and ignore me without any greeting. I proceeded to walk to the second Person and asked if I could check in, she told me in a minute and proceeded to shuffle papers and type on her keyboard. The third person - the one who actually checked me in offered to check me in and was courteous and helpful. Extremely disappointed to be treated as if I was a nuisance to the ladies up front . I recommend they not sit there if they are not wanting to interact with patients. An intern saw me after 40 minutes of waiting for the doctor. Then after another 20 min the doctor came in. He didn't ask me any questions to further understand my symptoms and only offered one procedure to ease my mind. He was courteous and spent time with me despite being an hour late, but I didn't get any answers or even possible answers. Neither he nor the intern knew my medical history background as well as I would have preferred. I believe all of these tests in my chart would be helpful if they reviewed prior to seeing me to help with a possible diagnosis or plan of care. All around disappointing experience with Prisma. I was asked to be at my appointment 20 minutes prior and glad I didn't or I would have been waiting far longer than I already did based on the over scheduling. As I was leaving the doctor asked the nurse where his 3 pm patient was and they informed him that she had to leave to pick her child from school as she was waiting over 45 minutes for the doctor. So I was not the only one experiencing this. Perhaps not double or triple booking, welcoming front desk receptionists could help improve trust and respect.

It took a long time to get an appointment, over 2 months.

Provide more timely appointments and follow-up better when the appointment time that was predicted doesn't happen.

I'm sorry, everything was excellent. I didn't mean to press to tell you that there was something more you could do. It was excellent service.

When I called months before my appointment, I questioned why I was supposed to schedule a spinal neck MRI, that Dr Curtis talked to me about getting another nerve Conduction Test. I asked for a call back to clarify. No one ever called back from the office and I was never scheduled for the nerve Conduction Test.

Everything was great-even with the substantial wait time for which the Dr apologized. It is always a pleasure to see Dr. Curtis. He is very helpful and knowledgeable about IBM. I felt like I had an active role in my health situation and I was listened to by Dr. Curtis and the OT/PT personnel I saw. The only thing I thought was going to happen in the visit-and it did not- was to see a person from Pulmonology. The personnel had already gone for the day but my next visit is scheduled for a.m. when this service will be available. So glad I was referred to Dr. Curtis!!

Y'all is one of the best places I've ever been to in my life. And I come all the way out of Chestnut. And the doctor I got, he's real good and I trust him with my life.

There is none. Dr. Curtis listened and gave me feedback. He reminded me of the way doctors used to be - he treated me as a person and not a number! For that I am grateful!

You might want to update your line of questions at check-in. We no longer have a "Pandemic". The Covid questions are simply annoying. If there is a concern, can you go back to just asking if a patient has a cold, cough or flu, like before 2020? Your staff clearly does not like asking these questions. I am making this request to help them by stopping the nonsense. 5 years of this interrogation is more than enough.

Dr Curtis and the entire staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We always enjoy coming there for a visit!

Dr Curtis listened and genuinely seemed to want to help with my symptoms. Not afraid to say that he will look closely at the MRI he ordered and compare to the last one to see if I need to go to a neurosurgeon.I appreciated his honesty about my condition. Explained everything to me in a way I understood.

The appointment was supposed to be to get evaluated for botox injections, instead, I got just acheck up. To me, it was basically a wasted visit, and I still haven't been scheduled for the botox. I was told I'd be called, more wasted time.

Doctors and staff spend time talking about with me my condition and listening to my concerns. Empathetic and caring!

This was my second visit. Dr. Curtis and his approach is rare and welcomed! He is learning about me and my medical history to help me. He asks questions, listens to me, and discusses treatment options so that I can understand and have input! I feel so optimistic that I have Dr. Curtis leading my team. Above I spoke of qualities but he has knowledge and expertise that allows him to focus on the patient. He was recommended and I appreciate having a doctor of his skill set practicing in today's medical environment!

My visit was really great. My doctor was super nice &I felt so comfortable & not nervous like I usually am with a 1st. time visit. I am so happy to have a physician that I can trust & feel comfortable with & trust with helping me get better & really listen to me. That is my goal to get better.

I needed to alter some items in mychart. I needed help. Wish it was reviewed by the nurse, after she left I forgot to ask. I will remember the next time. For example, I have a new PCP.

I have no complaints about Dr. Curtis nor your staff. Your staff is very courteous and very good to me and take care of me before Dr. Curtis came in. Dr. Curtis is an awesome doctor. Dr. Curtis sit down and discuss our issues concerning the MG and ideas for the future that may help me be able to handle it better. He's very professional and very smart in his field. I do not see anything that could be changed in your practice with staff nor doctors. I appreciate everything you guys do for me and I appreciate Dr. Curtis.

Nothing that is can think of. The visit with was Dr. Curtis was exceptional.

It was an outstanding visit. There is nothing that I would change.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 5/19/2025
The attending physician working with Dr. Curtis performed all the tests she was instructed to do according to the textbook. She heard my issues and concerns but did not listen to me. She should not have so quickly diagnosed my condition and recommended a course of treatment without consulting with me and Dr. Curtis. In fact she dismissed me when I objected to surgery. Thankfully she is working with Dr. Curtis who hopefully will guide her to better care for her patients in the future. Had she been the doctor I was to see on my first visit, I would not have returned and would have requested a new neurologist for my care. Dr. Curtis has proven to be most professional and caring demonstrating a genuine interest in my recovery and care.

My initial contact with the office was on the elevator to the second floor. The area where the floor buttons were was smudged and dirty - hardly appropriate for a medical building. The doctor's office was clean and neat.
