Dr. James P. Farrell is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with expertise in orthopedic and spine surgery. He earned his medical degree from the University at Buffalo, where he also completed his residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery. The X-ray techs were amazing but the medical assistant didn't seem helpful. Being a new patient not knowing how they do things caused me anxiety, and she should have made me feel more comfortable instead of trying to get me in and out so quickly. Next time it will be better for me because I have a better understanding of the process. The doctor was great! He knew I was anxious but didn't make me feel bad about it, he listened and cared.

I had difficulty making an appointment prior to this one at the pain clinic, and when I mentioned this, the nurse and physician both expressed concern and apologized on behalf of Prisma and the physician directed the nurse to specifically follow through on this. I really appreciated this (great recovery). I really admired Dr Farrell's approach to my medical situation and his care to answer all my questions and those of my husband. We are both recently retired nurses and his explanations took that into consideration. I would gladly recommend him and Prisma.
