Hashim Ahmed, MD

Dr. Hashim Ahmed is a family medicine physician with Prisma Health. He is originally from the Brecksville area near Cleveland, Ohio. He earned his undergraduate degree from Youngstown State University and completed his medical degree at Northeast Ohio Medical University. He went on to complete his residency training in family medicine at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Dr. Ahmed provides comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. His clinical practice includes preventive care, management of acute and chronic conditions, inpatient hospital care, and a variety of in-office procedures. He values the broad scope of family medicine, which allows him to care for diverse patient needs while also building long-term relationships with individuals and families.

His approach to care emphasizes listening, meeting patients where they are, and supporting shared decision-making to ensure patients remain actively engaged in their health.

Outside of work, Dr. Ahmed enjoys reading, gardening, hiking, spending time outdoors, and caring for his cats.
