I was a patient at this facility for years, just not in the last three years. I was told I had to get a referral. So, I call the ED I went to. The ED staff said they couldn't give me a referral as I had been discharged the previous day. I then called my primary care office. My primary provider stayed they would attempt to the send them the referral, but that PH had denial referrals before. Finally got the referral through. Service was good. After spending additional personal money and time. And continued kidney stone pain along with a BP of 239/140. Yes the pain has lessened and my blood pressure has eased. Truly wish Prisma Health had focused items on their Mission Statement . ...... Serve with Compassion...... Be the Difference.....

I was very pleased with my care. I only had one minor issue, which really didn't bother me, but is a potential area for improvement. I was ready for my appointment, and the provider was ready for me at my appointment time, but I wasn't called back to an exam room because the registration person forgot to indicate in the computer that my check in was completed. I think she may have been new and still learning. It only delayed my getting into the exam room by 15 minutes because I asked what was going on after waiting a bit.

In my first visit, I felt like I wasn't listened to at all. In my second visit, this last week, it was just about results and basically they had nothing to tell me that couldn't have been told over the phone. So it was a big waste of time for me to have to drive to the office and sit and wait to see the doctor in person. And the doctor's waste of time, honestly, when they were just going over results with me that could have been done over the phone or over a video call.

Dr Fiscus was excellent. He was thorough, listened to and answered my questions, was clearly knowledgeable and straightforward with the diagnosis. The only suggestion I would make it that the exam room ceiling air vent was dirty and the poster for "Rezum" on the wall near the patient entrance to the exam room was rumpled and appeared unclean.

My biggest concern about most of the caretakers today, even though they talk about how they can help you they only offer to do surgery will give you drugs not one offer alternatives to the drugs or homeopathically ways that can help you. I believe there's more side effects and people are suffering for more l drugs, or surgeries no disrespect to doctors or nurses I do believe most of them care but I was really disappointed. There were no alternatives that could help me other than drugs or surgery.. we gotta change. We gotta get back to caring for people for real people. Don't need to feel like their number. Most people can rewrite between the lines when the doctors come in and show how educated smart. He is about subjects but they feel miserably when it comes to caring. That is just my take respectfully I appreciate the doctors do. My hats off to the doctors who take a stand to Care 4 real and offer alternatives.

Don't switch from a dr to a np , and take any kind of cancer more seriously, also have blood work especially with cancer extra blood work with urinalysis which was done before visit, blood was done during visit, have bloodwork done before visit not after. DR.fiscus gets more information ahead of time . Saves time. Would like to have results on urinalysis and bloodwork in depth along with past health care tests and lab results. Would like patients to have 3 months appointments for any kind of cancer instead of 6 months. The reason is to stay Ahead of anything negative. More information is always better than hearing, well if they just caught it sooner, they could have treated it . If it happens in your family then ask me more about my experience and how can we care for you. Still don't know why the switch of dr to np to another is going on . That's just another mistake ,a recipe for more confusion. Thanks for letting me express my opinion on health care.
