It may have been a rough day for the initial receptionist as happens for most anyone, but just deadpan personality and minimal engagement, communication and personality. Being a new patient, and having been served by Upstate Cardiology for nearly 15 years before this ER and Hospital stay at Greer Memorial, it was night and day at reception. It was a bit off setting initially but the rest of the visit, nurse and Dr. Vaz were great and very personal, professional and supportive. Very happy overall and mark the initial reception as just someone having a rough day. The medical care and support was the most important issue and was first class.

The appointment was great, but I did have to wait about 45 minutes from the time I checked in until I saw my provider.

MD was distracted and not familiar with my history which was disappointing.

Everyone was friendly and answered all my questions. Excellent. Dr Vaz was very kind and interested.

I was told I needed labs one week after starting a new blood pressure medicine, but I was not given a lab order or told where to go. So that's the only negative that I have for that visit. I love my provider. He's wonderful. So this is not something that would hinder me from coming back. I'm just not sure where to go for my lab.

When I left the office I felt as though I was treated very well and our conversations were treated with pride.

I had to wait for several months before I could schedule my annual appointment. When I did call back afew months before the appointment, I was told two different times to call back before I was given the appointment.

Everything was better than I expected

Provider doesn't listen to patient. Incorrect information was put in my chart simply because he did not listen to me. He spent all of 5 minutes with me.

Uh, yes, there was no question about what the quality service professional, et cetera. Doctor was very knowledgeable, spoke in terms that I could understand. I was very impressed with the gentleman.

During front desk sign-in, the receptionist could be a little more discreet with questions regarding patients' private information, being aware the waiting area can be full, and others can over-hear. - Overall, the patient visit/exam was very good.

System of making appointments for 3 mo. or 6 mo. return. Even when I make adjustment to accommodate the dr 's schedule, I will receive another letter changing the appointment to another day/time - usually within a few days of new time/date/location. At times this becomes stressful for me to not only rearrange my schedule but the one who must pick me up and bring me to the specified time etc. And involves that person having to change arrangements as to leaving work as requested and changing to new time/day as outlined by the second letter to accommodate me. It didn't use to be a hassle.

The entire team was very friendly, helpful and I understand my condition a lot better now. The doctor explained everything.

Medical records, they are so kind that no one ever called me back. I called them three times. They called me once. I called back, called back again, and nothing. So it's medical records, one. Number two, the person, the MA with Dr. Vaz, who is great. I love Dr. Vaz. But, you know, I asked her a few things and, you know, she didn't want to do it. Been here six years. know what to do. She's an MA. I have a master's in nursing. Just trying to help her out and didn't acknowledge that. So all I'm saying is you got to coach these people to opportunities. You're taking care of people. Thank you.

It seems that there are "Call Center" agents who handle calls for appointments & questions for the doctor or nurse. Two of my interactions with two different women weren't very pleasant. They were a bit abrupt and somewhat rude. Everyone has bad days but they should try to be more kind...

Nothing to mention here. I have 100% Confidence in Dr Vaz and the Staff at (Greer) Carolina Cardiology.

Best care as is

I went to Dr. Vaz with a difficult and complicated problem. Dr. Vaz was like a research scientist, reading all of my past medical history, and every word of my own notes of tracking my symptoms. His focus and interest on finding the answers were remarkable. He personally called one of my other doctors to gain more information and made appointments for me. This is not the first time he has gone over and above the standard requirements, to help me, and found the perfect doctors I needed. His manner is kind, attentive and through, while making sure his patients have the best.

I am completely happy with how my appointment went. My husband and I both commented, walking back to our car, how good of a fit Dr Vaz is for us.

I can't think of anything that would have made my visit better. From e-check in to my actual check in everything was handled perfectly. Dr Vaz and his team are top notch professionals.

Check in and check out woman was a little cold but did her job. My answers reflect The fact that I don't know this practice that well and so don't really have a strong relationship with the staff. I have seen Dr Vaz 2 or 3 times, and I do like him so far and feel comfortable with him.
