Christopher Madison Watson, MD

Christopher M. Watson, MD, FACS, was born in Atlanta and received his undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia, graduating magna cum laude. He received his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia, and completed his general surgery training at Prisma Health Richland Hospital and the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia.

Prior to completing a fellowship in surgical critical care at the University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesvile, Dr. Watson served as a general surgeon at the Wm. Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia, South Carolina. He is board certified in general surgery and surgical critical care by the American Board of Surgery.
