Carmen Cristina Hancock, FNP

Carmen Hancock, NP, joined the Prisma Health Center for Integrative Oncology and Survivorship in 2021. She is a South Carolina native but lived in Atlanta, Georgia, while obtaining her undergraduate degree from the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University and her master's degree from Georgia Regents University (now known as Augusta University). She is oncology certified and worked with the adult hematology/oncology group at Winship Cancer Institute and Emory University Hospital before relocating to the Upstate. She is excited to serve in a role that allows her to focus on wellness with her patients during treatment and beyond into survivorship. She strives to educate her patients about lifestyle changes that allow for the prevention and early detection of cancer, as well as empowering those to live well with a cancer diagnosis. In her free time, she enjoys Pilates, learning to play tennis, gardening, and spending time with her husband and two young boys.
