Barbara Sharon Murray, MD

Sharon Murray, MD, graduated from Wake Forest University School of Medicine and completed her General Surgery residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center, where she was the first woman to complete the residency. She is certified by the American Board of Surgery. Following residency, she practiced as a general surgeon in the Carolinas before transitioning to full-time wound care in Montgomery, Alabama. Having grown up in Greer, S.C., she has moved back here to be with family.

When not working, Dr. Murray enjoys singing in the choir, reading, quilting, painting, practicing Qigong, spending time with family, and taking care of her two rescue cats.
