Ashlyn Victoria Smith, FNP

Ashlyn Smith, FNP-BC, joined Prisma Health Osteoporosis and Bone Health in 2026. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina and is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.


Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked with Prisma Health for more than five years as a registered nurse in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She specializes in the evaluation and management of osteoporosis and osteopenia.


Smith is passionate about helping patients improve their bone health, reduce fracture risk, and maintain active, independent lifestyles. She believes patient education is one of the most important aspects of care and enjoys partnering with patients to help them understand their diagnosis and treatment options. Her goal is to empower patients to take an active role in their bone health and feel confident in the decisions they make about their care.


Outside of work, she enjoys running, gardening, and spending time with her husband and family
