Ashley Blackmon Jones, MD

Ashley Blackmon Jones, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist at Prisma Health in Columbia. Dr. Jones is a Professor of Clinical Psychiatry in the Department of Neuropsychiatry and Behavioral Science and an Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Prisma Health/University of South Carolina School of Medicine Columbia.

Dr. Jones specializes in women’s mental health. She runs integrated care and telepsychiatry consultation clinics for perinatal mental health disorders while also serving as the co-chair for the South Carolina Maternal Morbidity and Mortality Review Committee. She is the co-chair of the department's well-being committee and is a grant recipient and project director for a well-being grant. As a clinician educator, Dr. Jones also provides seminars for residents, fellows, and students.
