Anne Morrison Harper, PA

Anne Harper, PA-C, is a national board-certified physician assistant specializing in orthopedics. With experience working in trauma/emergency general surgery, foot and ankle surgery, and total joint surgery, she brings a broad surgical background and a steady, patient-centered approach to care. Her experience in these surgical subspecialties has given her a strong foundation in managing complex conditions and guiding patients through both urgent and planned procedures.

Anne’s passion for orthopedics stems from a desire to help patients regain functional mobility, reduce or eliminate pain, and return to the activities they love. With the total joint team, Anne works closely with patients throughout their surgical journey – from preoperative education and optimization to postoperative recovery – ensuring they feel informed, supported and confident every step of the way. Her goal is to provide compassionate, thorough and personalized care so that every patient feels heard, respected and empowered in their treatment plan.

A proud South Carolina native, she earned her undergraduate degrees in biology and experimental psychology from the University of South Carolina. She then completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.

Anne is grateful to now be raising her own children in the same state that shaped her education and career. Outside of work, she enjoys Pilates, reading, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Gamecocks.
