Suzette Combs, NP, joined Prisma Health as a nurse practitioner in 2017. Combs was born in nearby Anderson and received an associate degree in nursing from Greenville Technical College. She then completed her bachelor's degree in nursing from Coastal Carolina in Conway and later graduated from Francis Marion University in Florence with her master's degree in nursing and a teaching certificate.
Combs worked as a critical care and emergency room nurse for several years before becoming a nurse practitioner. She now sees patients with neurologic disorders such as seizures, strokes, migraines, myasthenia gravis, neuropathy, multiple sclerosis, CIDP, AIDP, trigeminal neuralgia and vertigo. She strives to educate her patients on preventive treatments, as well as limiting the symptoms associated with chronic illness. She especially enjoys developing a relationship of trust with her patients and working together to develop a plan of care that will improve their quality of life.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, kayaking, swimming or almost any sporting event.
