Everything was good. I could find somebody closer to where I live to go to, but I really like Dr. McGown because he always tries to put me at ease when he's going an injection.

The front desk staff where u check in was not very pleasant. This was the second time I encounter that. Dr McGown and his staff was super!!! I always have a pleasant visit with Dr. McGown. He is truly one of the best physicians ever.

My care was executed with extreme excellence and could not possibly have been better. From the support staff on to the Doctor I was treated with excellence.

I understand this is a new facility and you are working the straighten out the wrinkles. We encounter a delay in checking in on the second floor, I was not sure why the delay was but it made our appointment late for about 30 minutes.

When Dr. McGown said he will order x-rays while I was there why couldn't I have gone to x-rays the same day while I was there which was down the hall. Don't understand that and I payed another $45.00 twice.

The Doctor, nurses and all the the staff were GREAT!

I had to wait for 45 minutes for the appointment - the nurse said that maybe they lost my name. I had to check in twice - once in the lobby and again on the floor where the doctor is. This never happened in the previous location. I also don't like that they have moved so far away from downtown now.

I only come to receive an injection so there isn't really much of an opportunity for interaction. However the little that I do have is always pleasant and very respectful.

I need to go back over one because I didn't hear it and I hit the button before I heard it. See, could you go back to one and let me hear that one number one? Because whatever it would have been, it would have been most definitely. If I hit the wrong key, I'm sorry. Because Dr. McGown and his staff are great. I was referred to him by a relative and he's been everything they said he was. Very courteous, makes you feel at home, concerned about your health, and if it's not working, he's willing to do something about it, to let you see somebody else or tell you what your pros and cons are. He is an excellent doctor and I like his staff. They come in with a pleasant attitude. Everybody's really nice. But I think I hit the wrong button on number one. So please change that to most definitely because it went off before I could hit it and I hit one and I think I hit the wrong number on that one. Thank you so much. I appreciate the staff there and they're what all y'all do for us.

Any desk should help make an appointment rather than push doing it online. I want to see a PCP at your facility and no one would help

I like the physician, but when you complete the health questionnaire no one reviews with you your answers. It took more time with the check in registration process than with the the time spent with the physician.

Everyone has been doing a great job with my issue

I must say it was very different from my first experience in rock Hill. He was so professionally. I didn't even feel the shot. I had a fear because of my first experience, but I feel very comfortable with the way he do things I will always go to him and recommend him to anyone.

I really thought the entire visit could've been done over the phone or online. There was no examination or testing, just questions. Information was given out but could've been done in any other way not requiring an actual visit. Evidently my visit was needed for insurance billing purposes.

There was NO indication that I needed to check in downstairs before go to Orthopedic. I waited over an hour before I was seen. I even checked in at Orthopedic before my appointment. Prisma needs to inform patients as they enter to check in downstairs before going to their doctor!!

More time with the doctor. I think I may have spent a total of five minutes with the doctor.

The receptionist at the check in desk on the second floor was constantly complaining about her workload. Then instead of calling me to the desk to tell me which waiting area , she yelled at me across the room.

More emphasis on change of location of appt

There are not enough bathrooms in the public wedding room.

Everything was perfect. The facility-is nice and clean and it is brand new but everything was nice. The staff was remarkable. Oh my goodness they were awesome. Everybody treat me with respect it was so friendly. Dr. McGown is one of the nicest caring Dr. I seen in a long time.

Registration could have been a little bit smoother and a little bit more friendlier, but Dr. Andrew McGowan and his staff back in the back, they're all just wonderful. Overall, I have been very pleased with him. He was recommended to me and he's been one of the best. He really has. Thank you.

If I have been to the provider within 2 weeks, perhaps I don't need to answer those questions again and again and again. My knee shots are given 5 weeks in a row (or a little linger between shots depending on the schedule).

Let me know that your location had changed. I went to 14 Medical Park as I was told when I made the appointment. While there, I was told Dr McGowan was in his Northeast office. I then went to his northeast office only to see a notice on the door that he had moved. I then went to his new office. Not Dr. McGowan's fault. I would have been nice to be notified that this change happened. I was not notified.

I had no idea the practice had moved to a new facility. Arrived at Northeast location on Farrow Road to find the building closed. Other patients were in parking lot similarly confused. Need to notify patients of new location

Just keep doing what you are doing

The doctor and his staff were outstanding, no issues. What could have happened is more of an alert on the office changing venues. I didn't notice that on the original appointment you must have changed the address. It wasn't made well, it didn't make me well aware that there was a change, so I went to the old office first and then had to rush to the new office. So a better job on communicating the change in the office location.

Nothing everything was good and everything was clean

The visit seemed a little rushed. On the prior visit I was there to receive a gel injection, which until then wasn't told that it would be a series of three injections. It's not easy to see a doctor and ask follow up questions. I need al the necessary information at that time. I do realize most medical stuff is everyday routine for the medical staff. But, it's not for the patients. So, they may simple forget sometime. I am aware of the message system in Mychart. Which, the last time or one time I asked more than one question and only one was answered. Another time the answer was partial and not a direct answer. I asked what foods would benefit my condition and was told what to avoid instead.

No suggestion. I fully trust Dr. McGown and all staff members.

I complained at the facility about the staff at the entrance and the orthopedic check in. Staff at entrance were borderline rude and not at all helpful when attending a new facility. Sign at Business Park was wrong indicating new location would begin 11/10/25. Kiosks were confusing with NO instructions!

I checked in on my chart, but as always it took longer to check in at office then checking in on line and seeing Dr. Check out for next appointment was no problem as always.

I went to the offices at 14 Prisma downtown as I always did to be told at check in that I'm at the wrong location. I said whose fault is this. Answer: our fault not yours Then told to go to Parkridge. Told at reception that no Dr McGown was at Parkridge so registration gave me address to a new facility, located about 2.5 miles from my home in NE Columbia?!?! Really?!?! This was pour management to help patients with a change in facilities!! I drove over an hour around Columbia Metro to end up and a facility so very close to my home... please figure out how to do this better

Dr. McGown is a great doctor, has bedside manners with the clients, and his personality is definitely needed for this field of work. I just like to let him know that on my F/u visit 11/7 to view my MRI I told them my knee area had improved greatly and when he examined it he twisted it and it re-agitated it that I couldn't enjoy my friends birthday event that evening.

Oh it's business as usual with healthcare these days, all about the money with assembly line speed.

I can't think of anything else that could have been done to improve my care.

This was an excellent group when I started but it has turned into a shot giving money making single focused cattle car express. No time to discuss issues, no listening to the patient, no asking questions and sadly showing no empathy whatsoever. It is all about speed of delivery and the number of shots given per hour. The new policy of Prisma not allowing patients of physicians to go to the walk-in clinic when the doctor is unavailable is cruel and incredibly arrogant. For Prisma, this is great. For the older patients who helped build this practice through dedication and support, like myself, it is just sad. I am looking for another provider. I may even need to leave Prisma altogether. I am so frustrated and disappointed.

Nothing specific other than introducing yourself. There is always room for improvements to the system.

The only complaint that I have is having to sit in the waiting room for over an hour past my appointment time. That is totally unnecessary. Even if the doctor was running behind someone could have had the courtesy to let me know instead of leaving me sit there all that time for a five minute follow up visit.
