The team we met with was great - we felt supported and respected in our choices based on the information they gave us

Truly I can't think of anything! The care I received was above and beyond what I expected! All my questions were answered, and I was very comfortable with everyone in the room!

The doctor was nice enough but did nothing to establish trust or further introduce himself since I just met him. I wasn't even sure if he was an attending or fellow. My ultrasound was perfectly normally and my chances of having a baby with trisomy 21 decreased, yet he still said it was a risk and I should get the screening test done for it. He spent most of the appointment talking about that, which is quite odd as it felt like he was diagnosing my baby with trisomy 21 instead of saying they have a 1/1000 risk. I wish he would've talked more about the positives instead instilling fear into patients

Our appointment was scheduled for 2 o'clock and we didn't get seen until 2.15.

This visit was hard because we got unexpected news. A fellow did the ultrasound and while I understand she had to get certain images this was the first ultrasound since the 8 week and I wish she would have taken a little more time to show us what she was doing and or let us see the baby's face/profile better . I appreciate how upfront she was when we found my placenta wasn't in a good place but she was very grim which made already hard news even harder. Dr Lane was more positive yet honest. We appreciated the information she gave however the delivery was difficult especially given that this is not the first high risk pregnancy we have been through.

The team was one of the most caring and compassionate teams I've ever met in the healthcare field. We were there for almost five hours and every single person we spoke to and were cared for by was beyond amazing. What we are going through is extremely difficult and they showed the level of compassion we need so badly and we really feel that they are with us every step of the way.
