The doctor saw a patient with an distended abdomen and assumed I over-ate. I hardly eat anything in a day due to my gastroparesis (severe nausea, and vomiting if I did EVER eat over). But I hardly eat ANYTHING!!!! A Few of my doctors feel of my stomach and recognize that it is distended, especially when I tell them I don't eat that much. Before my wife got sick/injured she would always come to my appointments with me and would tell the doctor's I hardly eat ANYTHING with me so they believed us!!!! I have had 2 doctors NOW tell me that I have the WORST case of gastroparesis they have EVER seen. I use to go 4-5 weeks without a bowel movement. At least I go about once a day now. Some times it a little longer but it is usually once a day. Where is that OLD food?

My visit was great. They could use some specialized equipment at the hospital. I have to go to Greenville for a liver elastography. The population in this area is growing rapidly. Greenville is a long drive help these patients out.

My appt could not have been better. Dr. Motlis spent a lot of time with me to understand my gastrointestinal surgeries since birth as well as surgery at Prisma. He was able to recap my health like no other doctor has been able to. I appreciate it so very much. Prisma has been a life-saver for me-literally!

The waiting room doesn't have a single chair with arms. It was very difficult for me to get up out of the waiting room chair without arms.

I walked out of that visit feeling as if I had a second chance at life after being told that I had severe chronic liver disease/ cirrhosis of the liver From my PCP. At this appointment with my Gastro doctor reading same test results as my PCP I was informed that HE had any reason to even think that any Cirrhosis of the liver! So yes I was very happy with every aspect of my visit! 110 percent satisfaction!

A small thing but I would appreciate being called by my first and last name when called into the exam room rather than last name only!
