Amy Gourley Perry, ACNP

Amy Perry, ACNP-BC, is a cardiac electrophysiology nurse practitioner with Prisma Health Carolina Cardiology Consultants in Greenville, South Carolina.

After beginning her career as a cardiac care unit bedside nurse, Perry realized her passion for caring for adults, particularly those with cardiac conditions. This led her to become a nurse practitioner. During her nurse practitioner program, she pursued additional courses to focus her concentration in cardiology. She received her master's degree from the University of South Carolina with certification as an acute care nurse practitioner, and then began her career as an electrophysiology nurse practitioner with Arrhythmia Consultants, now Carolina Cardiology Consultants. She also holds certification as a cardiac device specialist, and helps manage patients with pacemakers and defibrillators.

Perry has continued her employment at Prisma Health for the past 11 years because of the academic center-level advancements balanced with community-centered care. When not at work, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband, children and her family, traveling, hiking and exercising.
