Amy Boone is a dedicated provider in the gastroenterology department at Prisma Health, where she cares for patients across both outpatient and inpatient settings. She was drawn to gastroenterology for its unique blend of clinical care and procedural work, as well as the opportunity to manage a wide range of chronic digestive conditions.

With a strong passion for patient education, Amy is committed to helping individuals better understand their health. Inspired by a family background in education, she takes pride in empowering patients with the knowledge they need to actively participate in their care and improve long-term outcomes.

Her care philosophy centers on putting patients first—listening attentively, valuing their perspectives, and approaching each interaction with compassion and empathy. She strives to build meaningful relationships that support both physical health and overall well-being.

Outside of work, Amy enjoys staying active through running and swimming, and spending time with her family, including keeping up with her twin boys. She also values quality time with her husband and making space for connection amidst a busy life.
