Alyssa Nicole Zorn, PA

Alyssa Zorn, PA C, is a Physician Assistant specializing in general orthopedics at Prisma Health. Originally from Orangeburg, South Carolina, she completed her undergraduate studies at Charleston Southern University and went on to earn her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the Medical University of South Carolina.

In her role, Alyssa evaluates and treats a broad range of orthopedic conditions involving the bones and joints. Her clinical experience includes managing both acute and chronic issues from knee and ankle sprains to knee arthritis and fracture care, which she sees frequently in practice. As a lifelong athlete, Alyssa has always been immersed in the world of orthopedics. Her early exposure to sports related injuries, combined with clinical rotations in physical therapy, general orthopedics and spine care, solidified her passion for the field.

Alyssa believes that patient education is one of the most important components of care. She prioritizes helping patients understand why treatments are recommended not simply providing a list of steps to follow. Whether discussing medications or outlining a recovery plan, she strives to ensure patients feel informed, supported and empowered in their healing process.

Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys an active lifestyle. She and her fiancé recently took up golf and now play frequently, especially since moving to a home on a golf course. She also loves spending time with her dog, who keeps her busy and entertained.
