Did it all very well!

I absolutely love Dr. Alysa James, her nurse, and scribe. If all health care could be like the experience they deliver I would not feel so worried and upset when needing to see a doctor. If I could move my cardiac care away from Spartanburg group to Dr. James I would feel such relief.

I wish you had better signage of where to go when you gone I. The building for your appointment. When I went for my bloodwork, I wasn't told I needed to go to building 2 instead of building 1. That could have been in the email with my appointment.

I didn't have an improvement. I just wanted to say that Dr. James spent a lot more time and a lot more care than I've ever had from any doctor that I've been to before and I really appreciate that. She was very thorough, very easy to talk to. She really seemed to care. It was just absolutely wonderful. So I just wanted to say thank you.

Dr James and her team are amazing. She is the only physician I have ever had who is positive in her demeanor, not all negative and "judgey" if I don't choose an optional vaccine, for instance, or if my blood tests are imperfect. Rather than exhibit any negative, judgmental biases (I've heard it called a physician's God complex) she is kind even when delivering a less than positive insight. The only improvement that occurs to me at the moment; my first scheduled blood draw for which I arrived right on time, having taken time off from work to drive across town in early morning traffic, got there only to learn they neglected to notify me the appointment was rescheduled due to Dr James's pregnancy.

Prisma seems to just make the appointments without asking if the date and time work out for the patient. I never spoke to anyone, just all of a sudden the appointment popped up. This also happened twice this week for different doctors. Not crazy about this policy.

Nothing g to improve trust, but had to wait 45-60 minutes for blood work due to miscommunication between staff.

This was my first visit and I was impressed with the friendliness of the office staff. The doctor seemed knowledgeable and took her time listening and answering questions. I felt she was very thorough. I was given referrals and requisitions for bloodwork. I was not satisfied with the fact I wasn't given a follow up appointment until a month later. My condition is debilitating and while I understand a final diagnosis can take time, I feel it is unnecessary suffering to just wait a month to do more testing or to at least try a different medication. SOMETHING! Why does a doctor wait 3 weeks to do an MRI and 4 MONTHS to see a neurologist?? Why not continue testing or at least searching for answers?? If the MRI is negative to explain my symptoms, then what?? WHY not do that or something else now? Instead of waiting 3 weeks--possibly for nothing, and we still wont know anything!

The entire team from check in to check out were the very best!

My visit with Dr James could not have been improved in any way. Her personal care for me after the loss of my wife was such an encouragement. And her professional care for my health concerns was very thorough and reassuring. I am so blessed to have her as my physician and friend.

Dr James is the very BEST. She listens, understands, and offers valuable counsel and medical advice. I think one of her sessions with any patient should be video taped and used as an example of excellent patient relations at every medical school and professional conferences. Thank you.
