Altan Alim, MD, is a liver transplant surgeon with extensive experience in hepatobiliary surgery and transplantation, supported by numerous scientific publications. He completed his medical education and advanced surgical training in Istanbul, Turkey, one of the world’s most demanding and high-volume medical environments. His clinical interests include liver transplantation, kidney and pancreas transplantation and hepatocellular carcinoma, with a focus on pediatric solid organ transplantation and pediatric liver tumors. He is experienced in managing complex cases in children, with an emphasis on improving outcomes through surgical expertise and multidisciplinary care.
