Everything was great. I just think the world of Dr. Sarayusa and Renea.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 12/6/2025
Not applicable. They saw that they had a cancellation just as I finished an appointment with my primary care Dr. and they saw me immediately. I did not have to go home and come back in a couple hours for my scheduled appt. Dr. Sarayusa is very professional, thorough and congenial. I would recommend him to any in need of a neurologist.

You could have listened to me more and trusted what I said. In all the 37 years since trying to understand my neurological problems, only (3) tests have shown an abnormality (and they were all for autonomic dysfunction). (And it took 13 years to find the first one =thermoregulaory sweat test) I had those (3) tests results with me, including the test results from the tilt table etc which showed an abnormal vascular constriction. But instead of doing those again or going further into the autonomic nervous system, the doctor wants to repeat mri's and (painful) nerve conduction tests. He wants to start over. [and I have a hyperactive sensory already. An EMG is only going to make my nervous system more hyperactive.] I don't mind repeating the basic tests ruling out the simple things just so that the doctor knows that we've covered those bases. I just want to make sure that we ALSO retest the autonomic because that's where the problem is. I don't need the doctor to spend a lot of time and money running down rabbit holes when we know what the problem is. I really think I need to meet with the doctor again, because I didn't get this point across.

Clemson Neurology, especially Dr. Saryusa is an amazing practice, an amazing doctor. There was honestly nothing more that he could do to improve my experience. Sorry, my dog just ran away. He is an excellent doctor and that place is top-notch.

Dr Sarayusa was the best specialist I've ever encountered. He connected the dots of various symptoms and orders tests to figure out what is going. He spent a good amount of time with me, doing a physical neurological exam and discussing what was going on. He was kind and attentive. I cannot say enough good things about this doctor. He is an excellent neurologist and I am thankful he works for prisma.

Nothing you can do more one of the best prisma places I have been
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 5/2/2025
Overall, I felt well cared for, but one way to further build trust and respect could be by taking a little more time to explain each step of the process or treatment plan. Clear, compassionate communication can make a big difference in helping patients feel fully involved and reassured.
