Abby Sadie Hamilton, AGACNP

Abby S. Hamilton, DNP, AGACNP-BC, FNP-C, has extensive experience in pulmonary, sleep and critical care medicine. She practices at Prisma Health Blount Memorial Hospital, where she provides both outpatient pulmonary and sleep care, as well as inpatient pulmonary and ICU coverage. She was born in Terre Haute, IN and grew up in Paris, IL. Hamilton’s nursing experience includes emergency and ICU settings. She obtained her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis, TN, completing a dual adult-gerontology acute care and family nurse practitioner track. She holds board certifications as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), as well as multiple life support, sedation and neurotoxin certifications. She has participated in medical mission trips, including serving as a provider in a rural Haitian health clinic. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, and spending quality time with her family, friends and pets.
