MaleAbout Joshua Keais Pope
Dr. Pope considers it an honor and a privilege to help guide and support patients and their families through the final – and sometimes the most difficult – chapters of their lives. The excellent and compassionate care he helps provide at Prisma Health Hospice of the Foothills involves cohesive teamwork from all disciplines, focusing on helping patients achieve a better quality of life in the time they have left, through medical, physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual support and cooperation.
Each treatment plan the team develops is unique and customized to every patient and family, focusing on and based on that person's own values, spirituality, medical conditions, symptoms, needs, and preferences of the patient and their family. While we are all mortal and cannot solve for death, we can design toward it, making the transition to the next plane of existence comfortable, natural, dignified, and beautiful. The entire team truly cares about our patients and their loved ones and consider it an honor to support, guide, and walk alongside them on their path.
"You matter because you are you, and you matter to the end of your life. We will do all we can not only to help you die peacefully, but also to truly live until you die." – Dame Cicely Saunders, RN, and the founder of modern hospice care
