Erica Lowing, MD, is a general OB/GYN who received her medical degree at Penn State College of Medicine and completed her residency at Prisma Health in Greenville. Dr. Lowing then joined the academic generalist division of the Department of OB/GYN at Prisma Health in the Upstate, where she prioritizes patient education, health equity, patient safety and medical education. She provides general obstetric care at Prisma Health OB/GYN Center and general gynecologic care at Prisma Health Gynecology Specialists–Halton Village. She also cares for patients during their stay at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.
In addition to general OB/GYN care, Dr. Lowing has a special interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including laparoscopic and robotic surgery. She enjoys taking care of patients of any age, gender identity or background. Outside of work, Dr. Lowing enjoys spending time gardening, reading, traveling and exploring new places with family and friends.

They were extremely thorough and efficient with my needs and the procedure at hand. She also helped me with prescriptions that were needed to be refilled. Could not add anything for them to be better. They are experts at their jobs. All the staff was great.

Dr. Lowing is the absolute best doctor I have ever been to! She is so caring and compassionate for her patients! She knew my history my first visit and keeps up with all of my health issues going on with me! She truly listens to you, she's not doing other things while you are talking to her, she's is right there with you, looking at you and listening!! She truly cares and is concerned about her patients! I had an appointment earlier in the day and I had already gotten the results on MyChart so I knew it was gonna be pretty sad news so I started to cancel my appointment with Dr. Lowing and I decided not to because I knew that she would make me feel better about the news I received, listen to me and give me great advice!! She actually already knew what was going on because she views her patients charts to see what is going on with them because she cares about there over all health, not just what they are there to see her about!! I recommend her to every female I know!! I wish she could be my doctor for everything that is going on with my health!! She is THE BEST!!
