Schedule my appt with Dr Cortez-Garcia. I have to make several phone calls to make sure I'm seeing him. And then the morning of the appt they had me scheduled with a different Dr in spite of my calls. I had to call again and the nurse Stephanie did change it. I find this extremely frustrating.

Yes. One issue is it takes too long to get appointments with Prisma. It took me four months to get that appointment. That's too long.

Read my medical history in my chart at least for the last six months. Too often the nurse or assistant goes through your medical history and then you must repeat it when the doctor joins the visit. It seems repetitive so much so that I typed out my symptoms to just hand to them.

Could have given more concrete answers to patient questions

Familiarity with my case. Did he read the file? Were the referral notes incomplete? Not a good experience.

It would be better if didn't have to have a resident come in first and do the exact same tests that the doctor does. I rather just have the doctor come in and do the tests

Everything was great.

Absolutely nothing. I worked in the medical field for 15 years and part of that time was on a military base. This is the first facility that I can honestly say is better run than the military hospitals. The doctor was very knowledgeable, very professional, the support staff was great. This should be a teaching hospital. That's the only way you can improve it. Because I think you could teach others, you're that great.

Nothing to improve. All Staff very professional and courteous.

All questions were answered and I was given the chance to explore the answers.

If we didn't have to wait so long, we had to wait a long time in the room, once we were in the room.

Take away my pain/fix what is wrong with me.

l was given instruction how to get in touch with the doctor by my chart if l have any issues with medicine. this was very important to me because l went 3 months with previous meds that was not working for me, but did not know how to communicate with the doctor for corrective medicine.

I have been sent from specialist to specialist stating that this is the specialist you need to see and I wait months to see that specialist just to be told no, you need to see different type. This has been going on for months! I can't get anyone to help me, they are just passing me off to someone else instead of trying to help me. They just keep saying not my problem, let me refer you to someone different. I am not saying my Neurologist visit was bad, he was nice but there was absolutely no reason to see him and then he wanted to do unnecessary procedures. My problem is in my bloodwork not my back or shoulders. My bloodwork states I have a Autoimmune and noone seems to be able to figure out which one. My entire family is ate up with cancer and I can't get anyone to even consider running tests for cancer. I have been to Hospital, PCP, Rheumatology, Neurology. Where do I need to go for help? Who can and is willing to help me? I just want someone to take a look at my bloodwork and run some tests to find out what is going on. Im just asking for help. I can't afford to continue to miss work, pay co-pays, medications. Just to be told there is nothing I can do, let me send you somewhere else.

Nothing at all! Was happy to help the student who came in and talked to me before the Doctor. She was very pleasant as was the doctor when he came in. At the completion of the exam he walked me to the door.

Two way thing. Could not understand what he was saying at the same time, I have some hearing problem.

Don't make the appointment so long

My questions were answered, the doctor listened, waited for me to think, therefore, at the time, everything seemed in place. However, as you know, thoughts do come to mind later on.

He could have discussed one of the a diagnosis's with me that he had put on my after visit summary. He didn't discuss what he put down and I still don't know what it is because we DID NOT discuss it! It has me worried all weekend now. I tried to call yesterday to get a call back to explain to me what it is ans why he put it there and I did not even get a call back today! I would like to know as it wasn't discussed! To not tell me is a shock and I've been left to wonder and I'm not happy about this!
