All was well very nice people

While I'm sure he has the technical expertise, Dr. Lamon had a tendency to cut off my questions/responses, to rush through the visit, and was dismissive of issues regarding antibiotics and latex allergy. He had a cavalier attitude about how much breast tissue would be removed and from where, off-handedly remarking that there would be wire guidance because "I don't know where it is". This does not instill confidence or calm the anxieties for someone about to have a partial mastectomy. I am choosing to get a second opinion from another surgeon, who I hope is more respectful of the feelings and concerns of women who need breast surgery.

Dr. Lamon listened carefully to my concerns and offered reassuring responses in a professional and caring manner. He has a pleasant manner and was easy to talk to. I have every confidence in his ability to work with my team of doctors to address my health issues.

I think Dr. Lamon and his team at General Surgery Oconee are great.

Dr Lamon provided excellent info, well delivered, very professional and very friendly. That following and excellent surgery with a staff, all of who did an excellent job.

The staff was gracious. The doctor was not, he entered the room thinking that I was someone else. He asked if I remembered him from when he drained something on my leg, told him no. He informed me that he wouldn't do the throat test because he did not want to put me to sleep due to my health. He then said that I have acid reflux and prescribed medication . I'm sorry but how do you go from something in your throat to acid reflux? I do NOT have acid reflux! I will not be back in his office , nor will I do test at hospital.

Really it was a very good experience, for an emergency situation.

I checked in and was brought back with in 5 min. The staff was professional and friendly and the Dr. was knowledgeable and to the point. It was a very good experience.

The care was the best

To me the doctor did not come across as empathetic towards my concerns. Yes he answered questions and explained things but I left feeling glad he was not the surgeon who replaced my hip. His bedside manner was wonderful and he put me at ease.

Dr. Lamon was wonderful. I need additional surgery. Will have to go to Greenville, but would rather stay with Dr. Lamon in Seneca.

One issue I have and its probably not a major deal but I've seen this Dr twice and instead of giving me a printout with instructions he just writes it down on the nearest piece of paper which this time was a paper towel. To me this is extremely unprofessional and I feel others would feel the same way.

The Dr and his staff did what was needed to relieve the pain in my arm. They drained the Hematoma as was necessary. They were very helpful.

The initial nurse was awful - no personality at all and treated me like it was a bother for her to have to get me all checked out before the doctor came in. I will never be going back there.

As far as I'm concerned nothing really I received everything I needed.

Dr. Lamon was very kind during a stressful time. He took the time to explain my recent pathology report in detail. He detailed my options and what to expect. He was extremely calming and we left the visit confident that I would receive the best care possible.

Appreciated him being patient, had alot of questions and feel comfortable with him.

The Operating staff was top notch, and friendly, the night shift nurses on the sixth floor were just the best ! Can't praise them enough !
